AFM Instrument Training
Pacific Nanotechnology routinely offers training on the operation and applications for atomic force microscopes(AFM). The classes last for several days an are held in Santa Clara, CA. The next classes are scheduled for Jan 22 – 25, 2008.
The recently introduced Nano-DST Atomic Force Microscope is a state of the art research grade AFM that includes two independent XYZ scan boards. One of the applications for the dual board technology is dual scanning. A large metrology scanner is used to pan the probe over a sample held on a rapid scanner……….
Each month Pacific Nanotechnology posts an AFM image on its web site. A prize will be awarded to the person that is able to correctly identify the sample used to create the AFM image. The prize this month is an iPod nano.
