Pacific Nanotechnology Hosts Seminars on Atomic Force Microscopy
New and experienced users will learn practical strategies to aid their
research and process control applications using an AFM.
Santa Clara, CA -- January 21, 2003 -- Pacific Nanotechnology, Inc. (PNI), the global leader in high-performance, easy-to-use, and affordable atomic
force microscopes (AFMs), is offering seminars on "AFM applications for your
research and development programs." The seminars are designed for both new
and experienced users to provide them with tools and techniques necessary
for research using an AFM. The seminars will take place throughout the year
at various locations across the country. Please see the Pacific Nanotechnology web site at www.pacificnanotech.com or call PNI at 1-800-246-3704 for the seminar schedule.
The aim of the seminars is to provide nanotechnologists and nanoresearchers
with practical strategies to aid their research and process control
applications, particularly when visualization, modification, and measurement
of nanometer-sized surface structure are critical. Each seminar will feature
a noted speaker, an applications specialist, and a product sales engineer.
Paul West, Ph.D., vice president of products and chief technology officer
for PNI, will lead the programs. He will outline critical applications for
AFM in the increasingly expanding world of nanotechnology research and
developments.
"This AFM seminar program helps us educate researchers about the applications of AFM," said West. "We want to demonstrate how AFMs have become critical enablers as well as practical research tools for groundbreaking nanotechnology developments and for routine use," he noted. "We'll explain AFM capabilities, provide examples of how research is being accomplished, why it is done, and what the researcher can learn from it."
