Pacific Scanning Introduces the PScan2™ SPM Controller
Pasadena, May 16, 1998 -- Pacific Scanning Corporation today introduced the
PScan2™ controller - a versatile, cost effective electronic controller
for scanning probe microscopes including atomic force, tunneling and near
field optical microscopes. The PScan2™ controller is designed for the
SPM researcher developing state of the art SPM systems. Additionally, the
PScan2™ is ideal for use by instrument companies requiring a control
system for SPM systems.
All types of scanning probe microscope heads are supported by the PScan2™ controller including atomic force microscopes, near field optical microscopes, and scanning tunneling microscopes. Additionally, because of its unique design, multiple PScan2™ units can be controlled by a single Master computer which is an enabling feature for multiple probe systems development.
