The Scanning Tunneling Microscope(STM) option for the Nano-R™ includes an amplifier, probe holder, insulating sample holder, and electrical connectors. Installing the option takes only a few minutes and can be easily uninstalled. The STM option uses the same SPMCockpit software that is presently for the atomic force microscope(AFM).
