PNI Training Schedule
Pacific Nanotechnology Training Schedule - 2005
During 2005 PNI will have AFM training courses every three months. The dates for the classes are:
May 9-13 August 8-12 November 7-11
During each of these weeks, two courses will be taught by Pacific Nanotechnology applications and technical staff. The courses will be offered in Santa Clara at the Pacific Nanotechnology headquarters. PNI will provide lunches each day and a dinner on the final day of each class. Students must pay for their own transportation and lodging.
The course offered in 2005 will be:
#C-000-1000-X………… $935.00 Basic AFM Training - Tuesday/Wednesday
This course covers the fundamental principles, operation and the application of the atomic force microscope. In the morning, formal classroom training will cover the fundamental principles and applications of AFM.. In the afternoon, there is a hands on session that covers the operation of the PNI atomic force microscopes. This class serves as an introduction to AFM and is meant for new users of PNI atomic force microscopes.
#C-000-1001-X………… $935.00 Advanced AFM Training - Thursday/Friday Morning
The topics selected for this course may include LPM Software, Environmental Cell operation, or imaging modes. The specific topics that will be taught will be selected based on requirements from students attending the course. This course is intended for AFM operators that already know how to run the microscope and require a deeper understanding.
